Moritz F. Fürst ➔ Currently based at the faculty of geosciences and environment of Université de Lausanne, I work as a scientific staff member on the Urban Repair Project, a research venture exploring how repair and maintenance shape energy infrastructures in transition. I am a doctoral fellow affiliated to UNIL's institute of geography and sustainability. ● My research interests focus on knowledge and technology practices in the design and maintenance of information infrastructures and building technologies, particularly in the context of urban sociotechnical change towards data-driven and sustainable energy futures. I hold a master's degree in science and technology studies from the University of Vienna (Austria) ; following studies in media & communication, philosophy, anthropology, and sociology. ● I have been working at the intersections of policy, industry, art, and science— in the telecommunications industry, the energy sector, the creative industries, and the media ; as a project manager, pr/pa specialist, researcher, front-end developer, journalist, and teacher.
